Juan Villarreal, a cherished soul known for his loving nature, handy skills, and thoughtful demeanor, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2024, at the age of 68. Born on December 4, 1955, in Mathis, Texas, Juan's life was a testament to the strength and warmth of his spirit.

Juan is preceded in death by his parents. Gumencindo and Elisa Vasquez; grandchildren, Rogelio Gumecindo Villarreal and Erika Elisa Jasmine Villarreal.

Juan is survived by his companion, Diana Robledo Morgan; his daughter, Vivianna Villarreal; his sister, Connie Martinez; his brothers, David Villarreal, Juan Villarreal, Victor Villarreal, and Lolo Vasquez; his grandchildren, Camila Vale Lobato Villarreal, Cesar Oscar Mena Jr., Juan Orlando Mena, Ryan Julyus Mena, Angel Samuel Ortiz Villarreal; and four great-grandchildren. Juan was an avid outdoorsman with a passion for fishing and hunting deer. His love for the sport was only matched by his enthusiasm for football, particularly his unwavering support for the Dallas Cowboys. Game days were sacred to Juan, filled with excitement and the company of friends and family. Those who knew Juan will remember him as a man who lived with his heart on his sleeve, always ready to help and uplift others. His presence was a source of comfort, and his actions were driven by a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the world around him. As we bid farewell to Juan Villarreal, we celebrate the life of a man who was truly one of a kind. His spirit will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. Juan's story is one of love, dedication, and the simple joys of life, a narrative that will be told for generations to come. Juan’s family will receive condolences on Monday, July 15, 2024, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port Ave.; with a Holy Rosary and Liturgy of the Word to be recited at 12:00 PM. Services conclude that afternoon.
