She was a devoted mother, a dedicated co-pastor, and a compassionate friend who opened her heart and doors to everyone. Juana's life was marked by her deep commitment to her faith and her family. She served as a Co-Pastor at Templo El Divino Salvador in Corpus Christi, where she was known for her passionate sermons and her ability to inspire others with her words of wisdom. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her actions and inspiring her to serve her community with love and dedication. Juana was a loving sister to Eliazar Martinez and Edmundo Navarro, who cherished her for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering support. She was a devoted mother to Berta Alicia Ramirez-Juarez, Juana Olivia Smith, Juan Raul Ramirez, Oliverio Ramirez, and Garfield Joe Logan. Her love for her children was boundless, and she instilled in them the values of faith, love, and compassion. Juana was also a doting grandmother to Anthony Omar Ayala, Robert Ozeas Ayala, Christopher Perales, Andrea Nicole Garza, Ximena Lazaro, Yovana Lazaro, Elizabeth Lorin Smith, Oliverio Ramirez Jr., Imer Juarez, James Smith, and Skylar Smith. She delighted in their accomplishments and cherished the moments she spent with them. Her love for her family extended beyond her immediate family, and she was often seen welcoming friends and neighbors into her home with open arms. One of Juana's favorite traditions was celebrating Thanksgiving with her family. This holiday held a special place in her heart, as it was a time for her to express her gratitude for her blessings and to share her love with those around her. She also enjoyed traveling to Mexico on weekends, a testament to her love for her roots and her desire to stay connected with her heritage. Juana was a woman of many passions. Besides her ministry and her family, she was a licensed preacher, known as Lic. Juanita Ramirez. She used her platform to spread the word of God and to inspire others with her faith-filled messages. Her dedication to her ministry and her commitment to serving others were a testament to her selfless nature and her deep love for her community. Juana Ramirez will be remembered as a faith-filled, loving, and passionate woman who touched the lives of many. Her memory will continue to inspire and guide those who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she loved.

Juana’s family will receive condolences on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara @ Port Ave; with a Prayer Service to begin at 7:00 PM. Services will conclude that evening.
