Juanita Alaniz

Juanita Alaniz, age 63, passed way on December 14, 2011. She is preceded in death by her husband, Martin Alaniz Sr.; brother, Jose Salas; and parents, Vicente and Concepcion Salas. Juanita leaves behind her loving children, Ellie Alaniz, Elizabeth Alaniz (Iram Cantu), Emily (Oscar) Olivarez, and Martin (Jeanette) Alaniz Jr.; sister, Maria Elena Salas, Maria Calendaria Salas, Elia (Ricardo) Servin, and Rosie Coleman; brothers, Vicente (Rebecca) Salas Jr., Victor Manuel Salas, Felipe (Irma) Salas; 14 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren; and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. The family will be receiving friends at Trevino Funeral Home 3006 Niagara at Port on Thursday, December 15, 2011 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm that same evening. Rites of Christian burial will be celebrated at Saint Joseph Catholic Church on Friday, December 16, 2011 at 10:00 am; interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
