Juanito Bueno

Our beloved Juanito Bueno died peacefully Wednesday afternoon, February 10, 2021, with his family by his side. He worked for the Knolle Dairy Farm most of his life. He was a hard working, respectful, and loving man. He enjoyed family gatherings, barbecuing, all kind of sports, and was the #1 Fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend who will be truly missed.

Juanito is preceded in death by his wife, Irma Bueno; son, Jeremy Bueno; father, Jesus Bueno Sr.; paternal grandparents, Toribio and Manuela Bueno; and maternal grandparents, Estevan and Elisa Torres.

He is survived by his daughters, Roxanne (Mando) Castro and Lupe Bueno; mother, Juanita Bueno; brothers, Daniel (Joanne) Bueno, Jesus “Jesse” (Ruby) Bueno Jr., Guadalupe Bueno, and Manuel (Suzie) Bueno; sisters, Sylvia Johnson, Rosie (Chris) Maldonado, Cindy (Ruben) Gonzalez, Mary Ann (Rudy) Flores, Raquel (Larry) Garcia, and Mary Jones; grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Friday, February 19, 2021, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Treviño Funeral Home, 120 E. Front St, Alice, Texas; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. Liturgy of the Word will be celebrated on Saturday, February 20, 2021, at 10:00 AM at Trevino Funeral Home followed by Rite of Committal and Interment at Sandia Cemetery.

Honoring Juanito as pallbearers will be Rosendo Deleon IV, Larry Garcia Jr., Manuel Bueno Jr., Toby Ramirez, Pete Ramirez, and Juan Ramirez. Honorary pallbearers will be Jessica Garcia and Rudy Bueno.

Face masks must be worn, and social distancing must be practiced while attending funeral services due to the current pandemic.
