Juan J. "Johnny" Peña

Juan J. “Johnny” Peña passed away on April 1, 2021 at the age of 67.  He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be dearly missed by all whom knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Peña; granddaughter, Tori Rene Peña; father, Ben Peña; mother, Gonzala Mendez; and brother, B.J. Peña.

Among those left to cherish his memory are his children, Ann Marie (Rubio), Jose J., Andrea (Adan) , and Juan (Roxann); sisters, Carmen, Sara, Minnie, Ana, Bebe, and Stella; brothers, Mike Rios, Robert Peña (Debra), and Mike Peña (Helen); grandchildren, Michael, Ashley (Ben), Joshua (Brianna), Brittany (Elijah), Nathaniel, Andrew, Sophia, Adan, Isaac, Erika, and Alyssa; great-grandchildren, Abigail, Xavier, Aaliyah, Derek, Donnie, and Leo; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port; with a chapel service to begin at 1:30 PM.  Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.

Honoring him as pallbearers are Joshua Segovia, Rey Rivera, Jr., Alyssa Peña, Ben Hinojosa, Chris Galvan, and Joey Rojas.

Face masks must be worn, and social distancing must be practiced while attending funeral services due to the current pandemic.
