Leanor A. Alfaro

Leonor A. Alfaro passed away on January 7, 2017 at the age of 82. She was born in Mathis, Texas on April 11, 1934 to Antonio and Clara Gutierrez. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. Leonor was employed at Memorial Hospital for 30 years. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her former husband, Guadalupe Aguilar; parents, Antonio and Clara Gutierrez; sisters, Maria Perez, Antonia Zamora, San Juana Gutierrez; brothers, Bonifacio, Tomas, Adan, and Pablo Gutierrez.

Leonor is survived by her husband, Arturo Alfaro; daughter, Juana Aguilar; sons, Guadalupe (Mary) Aguilar, Jr., Jose Aguilar; sister, Concha Regino; 8 grandchildren, Carlos, Jaime, Modesto, Johnny, Lupe, Monica, Crystal and Isabel; 16 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Angelita Gutierrez, Ramona Garcia; brothers-in-law, Adan Perez, Raul Aguilar; and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
