Leon Tasby

Leon Tasby passed away on April 18, 2023, at the age of 69. Leon proudly served in the United States Army. He was also a Black Belt in Karate and enjoyed playing Spades. He was a loving father, brother, uncle, and friend and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Louisa Tasby Bollar; father, Leon Goodley; and stepdad, Howard Bollar.

Left behind to cherish Leon’s memories are his son, Dr. Eric Wesley Davis; daughter, Kimberly Louisa Tasby; siblings; Angel (Wayne) Ray, Howard Bollar III, Marcia Bollar, and McDaniel Bollar; grandsons, Drazen Head, Adrian Head, and Braylon Williams; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Leon’s family will receive condolences on Monday, May 8, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara @ Port Ave, with a Celebration of Life to be held at 12:00 PM. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery with full military honors.
