Leonor M. Rodriguez

Leonor M. Rodriguez went to be with our Lord on May 3, 2017 surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 81. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. Leonor loved her music, the beach, her beloved pets, Notre Dame Football and the San Antonio Spurs. One of her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rafael and Eloisa Mancillas, and her sister, Consuelo “Connie” Mirabal.

Leonor is survived by her husband of 53 years, Martin L. Rodriguez; daughters, Loretta Hernandez, Laura (Jose Barrera) Rodriguez, Liza (Dale) Medina, Leslie (Lee) Harrison; 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild and one on the way; sister, Jolly Hernandez; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and Godchildren.

Carrying her to her final resting place will be her grandsons, Michael Rodriguez, Eric Hernandez Jr., Brandon and Nicolas Harrison, Matthew Medina, and Nathaniel Barrera. Following her grandsons and in honor of their grandmother will be her one granddaughter, Briana Hernandez and her one great granddaughter, Cameron Leigh Rodriguez.

The family will be receiving family and friends on Monday, May 8, 2017, from 5 pm – 9 pm at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara @ Port, with a rosary to be recited at 7 pm. Rites of Christian burial will be celebrated at 12:30 pm on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Services will conclude at the church.

The family would like to give a special thank you to River City Hospice social worker, Melissa, and her nurses, Lydia, Victoria and Christine for the love and care of our wife, mother and grandmother.
