Leopoldo Garcia

Leopoldo G. Garcia, age 78, passed away August 22, 2021.

He served his country in US Army and received many accolades, such as, National Defense Service Medal, Presidential Unit Citation, Good Conduct Medal Clasp; and Expert (Rifle).

He is preceded in death by his parents, Leopoldo and Rosa Garcia, and several brothers and sisters.

Leopoldo is survived by his family, children, Nicolas Jude (Vernice) and Christopher Jude Garcia; granddaughter, Audrey Rose Garcia, Destiny Vargas; grandson, Carlos Alexander Martinez; great-grandson, Xander Elijah Quintero; and numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Rite of Committal with honors will be held Thursday, September 16, 2021, at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery at 10:00 AM.
