Linda B. Davila, born on March 26, 1959, left this world on August 18, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and strong family values. A multifaceted individual, Linda embarked on a rewarding career as a cosmetologist while also proudly serving as a Class-A truck driver. Her commitment to her work was matched only by her devotion to her family.
Linda's hobbies reflected her vibrant spirit. She cherished shopping excursions and spent many joyful moments camping at Garner State Park, where she found solace in nature. Linda had a profound appreciation for good food, relishing every bite of barbecue and Chinese cuisine. She had a love for country and Tejano music, and was a devoted listener of K-Love radio, where she found comfort and inspiration in the uplifting music that echoed through her home. Whether it was going to the movies or relishing quality time with family, Linda embraced life's moments with enthusiasm. Known for her hardworking nature, she and her husband often proclaimed, "DAVILA is the name and Trucking is the game!," encapsulating her pioneering spirit and relentless drive.
Linda leaves behind a loving and extensive family. She is survived by her daughter, Christina (Fredy) Davila de Martinez, along with her beloved grandsons, Enrique (Jinnelle) Espinoza and Christopher Davila. She is also survived by her granddaughters, Ashley (Jay) Franco, Samantha (Medd) Davila, Jasmin (Annalisa) Martinez, Jedidiah Martinez, and Jezebel Martinez; and her great-grandchildren, including Dominic, Liliana, Nayeli Davila, Jayce Davila, Nevaeh Rae, Carter and Hudson Garcia, and Azriel Wren Davila. Additionally, Linda is remembered fondly by her six sisters and four brothers, along with numerous nieces and nephews who carry her spirit forward.
Linda's memory will be cherished by all those who had the privilege of knowing her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rogelio "Grenías Roger" Davila Sr.; her son, Rogelio "Pelon" Jr. Davila; her parents, Jose Blanco Sr. and Herlinda F. Blanco; her sister, Juanita B. Soto; and her brothers, Ernesto, Santiago, and Jose Jr. Blanco. Each of these family members holds a special place in the hearts of those who loved Linda.
The legacy of Linda B. Davila will live on in the stories shared, the laughter echoed, and the love that binds her family together. She will be profoundly missed but forever remembered.
Linda’s family will receive condolences on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St., from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM; with the Holy Rosary and Liturgy of the Word to begin at 6:30 PM. Linda’s services will conclude in the chapel that evening.
