Linda R. De La Cruz, a cherished wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, passed away peacefully at the age of 70 with her loving family by her side in Corpus Christi, TX, on October 26, 2024. Born on October 18, 1954, in Brownsville, TX, she was a beacon of joy and strength to all who knew her.
Linda's life was one filled with the love of her family and a passion for her work. She shared a beautiful and enduring partnership with her husband of 30 years, Jose De La Cruz, with whom she navigated the journey of life's highs and lows. Together, they raised a family that included their daughter, Mona Lisa Ramos, and son, Juan Rodriguez Jr., instilling in them values of love, hard work, and perseverance.
Linda's legacy is carried on by her family, including her five brothers, Estanislado Rangel, Daniel Rangel, Antonio Rangel Jr., Javier Rangel, and Andres Rangel; her two sisters, Lydia Salazar and Rosario Solano; and her adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will forever cherish their memories with her. She was preceded in death by her devoted parents, Cipriano Rangel and Aurora Bitureida, and her brothers, Jesus Rangel and Miguel Torres.
Her career as a cosmetologist brought beauty into the lives of countless individuals. Linda's skilled hands and warm conversation were the hallmarks of her time with Precision Cuts, where she not only styled hair, but also cultivated lasting friendships with her clients and colleagues.
Linda's zest for life extended beyond her professional endeavors. She found joy in the simple pleasure of playing lotto scratch-offs, celebrating each small victory with the same enthusiasm she brought to every aspect of her life. Her infectious laughter and radiant smile were a source of comfort and happiness to all.
As we bid farewell to Linda R. De La Cruz, we reflect on a life well-lived and well-loved. She was a woman of immense warmth, whose presence was a gift to us all.
