Lionel Sauceda Sr.

Lionel Sauceda Sr. passed away peacefully in his home on September 28, 2021 at the age of 82.  He was born on January 6, 1939 in Robstown, Texas to the late Juan and Guadalupe Sauceda.

Lionel worked and was retired from CCISD. He enjoyed fishing with his best friends, Jimmy Hall and Primo.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria M. Sauceda; his son, Lionel Sauceda Jr.; and his brothers.

Lionel is survived by his daughters, Cruz Arrellano, Yolanda (Victor) Rocha, and Maria G. Sauceda; sisters, Lupe Felan and Vicka Sauceda; brother, Felipe Sauceda; 13 grandkids; and numerous great-grandkids.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, October 7, 2021, at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A Chapel Service will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021, at 10:00 AM at Trevino Funeral Home followed by Interment at Rose Hill Cemetery.

Face masks must be worn, and social distancing must be practiced while attending funeral services.
