Lorenzo Corpus Rojas, 73, passed away on August 30, 2026, in Corpus Christi. He was born on September 5, 1952, in Camargo, Tamaulipas, Mexico.

Lorenzo will be remembered with love by his family and all who shared in his life. He is survived by his wife, Irene Corpus; children, Anna Corpus Hernandez (Bacilio), Lorenzo (Stephanie) Corpus Jr., Veronica Corpus (Joe Anthony) Gomez, Michael Corpus, Liliana Corpus, Vanessa Corpus, Lynda (Jesse) Corpus, and Rene (Pricsilla) Corpus; 27 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Juana Villela, Lala Corpus, and Socorro Marquez, and numerous nieces and nephews. The love of his family stands as a lasting reflection of the life he lived and the place he held in their hearts.

He was preceded in death by his father, Isidro Corpus; his mother, Genoveva Rojas; and his partner, Martina Salomon. Those who went before him remain a cherished part of his story, and their memory is held close alongside his own.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port Ave, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM; with recitation of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at Holy Family Catholic Church at 11:30 AM and Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.

Lorenzo Corpus Rojas will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him. May his memory bring comfort, peace, and enduring love to his family and friends.
