Louis A Escamilla

Louis A. Escamilla of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away on December 1, 2022, at the age of 80. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alfonso Escamilla and Santa Cruz Salas.

Louis loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed fishing in his spare time. Louis worked for 20 years with Asarco American Smelting. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him

Left behind to cherish Louis’s memories are his wife, Mary Jane Escamilla; children, Louis Edwin Escamilla (Elsa), Helen Escamilla, and Diane Peña; stepchildren, Elizabeth Benavides and Larry Benavides (Lily); sisters, Esmeralda Charles, Cindy Juarez, and Norma Perez; brothers, Eddie Peña (Amanda) and Daniel Escamilla; grandchildren, Gloria Turner, Lory Holvey, Damon Turner, Peyton Morales, and Lukas Benavides; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Sunday, December 11, 2022, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara @ Port Ave.; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 6:00 PM. Liturgy of the Word will be held on Monday, December 12, 2022, at 12:00 PM at Treviño Funeral Home. A funeral cortege will depart the funeral home at 1:00 PM for Rite of Committal and Interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
