Lucia Francisca Tanguma

Lucia Francisca Tanguma passed away on February 23, 2019, at the age of 68. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Lucia was deeply loved by her family and friends; she will be dearly missed by all whom loved her.

Lucia is preceded in death by her parents, Pedro and Espedita Tanguma; along with brothers, Daniel and Pedro A. Tanguma.

Among those left to cherish Lucia’s memory are her children, Omar (Misty) Cabello, and Marisa (Will Moore) Garza; sisters, Rosario Diaz, Patricia Tanguma, and Janie Ruiz; grandchildren, Melissa Cabello, Amber Cabello, Tala Cabello, Matthew Hernandez, Mia Garza, Monique Garza, and Mekhi Moore; nephew, Jose Tanguma, niece, Eleanor Diaz; one great grandson, Joseph Benitez; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, February 28, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port; with a Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 PM. A chapel service will take place on Friday, March 01, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Treviño Funeral Home. A funeral cortege will depart the funeral home to Memory Gardens for Rite of Committal and Interment.
