Luciano Lucky Gonzalez

Luciano “Lucky” Gonzalez, born February 15, 1961 in Alice, Texas to Pedro C. Gonzalez, Sr. and Margarita A. Gonzalez, passed away on June 22, 2018 at the age of 57. Luciano was never one to mince words; he was more of a “tell it like it is” kind of person. He enjoyed gardening and playing with his dogs; but his true passion was cosmetology. Lucky was a very compassionate, sensitive and caring person. He showed his compassion by being the primary caregiver for his late mother. He will be remembered by these words he had recently wrote, “fulfilled, content, and loved”, that simply described his life.

Luciano was preceded in death by his parents, Pedro C. Gonzalez, Sr. and Margarita A. Gonzalez, and one sister Gloria Ester Gonzalez.

Survivors left to cherish his memories are his brothers, Pete A. Gonzalez, Jr., whom he loving called “dad”, (Benilde) and Victor Manuel Gonzalez (Amelia); sisters, Micaela Canales and Susie A. Monsevias (Joe); numerous nephews and nieces; and his fur baby, Hondo.

The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at Treviño Funeral Home, 120 E. Front St., from 8:00 to 11:00 AM; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 9:30 AM. A funeral cortege will depart the funeral home at 11:00 AM for Rite of Committal and Inurnment will follow at New Collins Cemetery.
