Lucy Peña

Lucy Peña passed away on December 19, 2020 at the age of 87.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend.  Lucy loved to sing, dance, sew, and cook for her family.  She will be dearly missed by all whom knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Peña; parents, Ildifonso and Adelfa Serna; son, Daniel Luis Peña; brothers, Fernando Serna, Ildifonso Serna Jr., Arturo Serna, and Ricardo Serna; and 2 sisters, Maria Del Socorro Meyer and Teresa Rangel.

Lucy is survived by her children, Linda Diana Peña, Miguel Paz Peña, Paulino Peña, and Laura Hilda Stevens; grandchildren, David Justin Gonzalez, Julissa Peña, Janelle Peña, Monica Poteet, Miguel Peña Jr., Camilla Peña, Christina Peña, Natalia Peña, Darrell Sevens Jr, Julian Stevens, Barbara Stevens, and Joseph Stevens; and numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Tuesday, December 22, 2020, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port; with a rosary and funeral liturgy to begin at 11:30 AM.  Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.

Face masks must be worn, and social distancing must be practiced while attending funeral services due to the current pandemic.
