Luz P. Rodriguez

Luz Rodriguez, our beloved aunt, entered her heavenly home at the age of 92, Tuesday November 15, 2022. Luz was born in Harlingen, Texas, May 29, 1930, to Guadalupe and Andrea Rodriguez who precede her in death. Also preceding her are her siblings, Francisco Rodriguez, Juanita Munoz, Elena Muro, Agrepina Salgado, Manuel Rodriguez, Maria Ramirez, Gregoria Garcia, Roberto Rodriguez, Jose N. Rodriguez, and Guadalupe Rodriguez.

She is survived by her twin sister, Lucia Trevino, and also numerous nephews and nieces.

Luz was a happy go lucky person; always happy saying  "Baby Baby" and helpful to all her family and friends. She worked most of her life in the grocery business as a cashier in Corpus Christi and California. Our aunt will be dearly missed, but she is at peace.

The family will receive condolences on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara @ Port Ave; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A funeral cortege will depart the funeral home at 9:30 AM on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
