Mae Rose Garcia

Mae Rose Garcia, age 60, has gone to see her maker on Friday, February 20, 2015, after an 8 year battle with cancer. She was an active church member at Tabernacle of Praise for over 20 years where she served as a choir member, an usher, and was also in the Flag Ministry. She is survived by her sons: Daniel (Africa) Garcia, Leandro (Marivel) Garcia, and Marco Garcia; sister, Donna Duke; brothers, Don Giertz and Joseph Giertz; grandchildren: Azul Garcia, Diego Garcia, Amber Garcia, and Luke Garcia. She was a great mother, grandmother, and a wonderful friend to countless friends. The family will be receiving friends Tuesday, February, 24 2015, at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara at Port, from 1 to 3 PM; with a memorial prayer service to be held at 2 PM.
