Manuel L. Benavides

Manuel L. Benavides passed away on January 19, 2017 at the age of 85. He was born in Guerrero, Mexico to Refugio V. and Cira Benavides.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter Amalia Romero; and his brothers, Eligio Benavides (Olga de la Fuente) and Natividad Ramirez (Jose Angel Ramirez).

Manuel is survived by his wife, Juana H. Benavides; children, Micaela Renteria (Regulo), Jesus Rocio (Maria Isabel), Manuel Benavides, Cira Benavides (Martin Sorola), Martina Benavides, Miguel Benavides (Dawn), Hector Benavides, Juan Benavides, Teresita de la Rosa (Cipriano Molina); 47 grandchildren and 75 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4:00pm to 9:00pm, Sunday, January 22, 2017 at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port with a rosary to be recited at 6pm. A chapel service will be held at 1:30 pm on Monday, January 23, 2017 at Treviño Funeral Home with interment to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
