Manuel was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors left to cherish his memories are mother of his children, Erma Gonzales; children, Manuel Gonzales (Tricia) of Houston, Reynaldo Gonzales (Norma), Bobby Gonzales (Delilah), Leticia Jimenez (Miguel Perales), Lisa Gonzales (Julian Pardon) of Alice, Thelma Salinas of McAllen; 24 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
