Manuel Gonzalez Gonzalez

Manuel Gonzalez Gonzalez passed away on October 22, 2017 at the age 73. He was born on August 1, 1944 in Laredo, Texas to Francisco and Maria De Jesus Gonzalez. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. His favorite hobbies were fishing, camping, bowling, golf, photography and he was an artist. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francisco and Maria De Jesus Gonzalez; and his brother, Frank “Pancho” Gonzalez. Manuel is survived by his wife, Petra V. Gonzalez; daughters, Celine Villalon Elledge (David); Sylvia Gonzalez; son, Manuel V. Gonzalez (Keeley); sister, Savina Gonzalez Palomo; his good friend Sandy Blair (and family);13 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will be receiving condolences on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. at Port from 4:00 p. m. to 9:00 p. m. in the evening; where a Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. A chapel service will be held at Treviño Funeral Home on Monday, October 30, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Funeral cortege will depart the funeral chapel at 10:45 a.m. for Rite of Committal and Interment at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery at 11:00 a.m.
