Manuel Garcia Leija

Manuel Garcia Leija , age 65 passed away Friday, November 2, 2012 in San Antonio, TX. Manuel was born December 30, 1946 in Corpus Christi, TX to Cosme Leija and Elvira Mendez. He was a veteran of The Vietnam War. He is preceded in death by his mother Elvira Mendez, son Mark Aaron Leija and a grandson Manuel Y. Leija IV. He is survived by chidren; Manuel (Beatrice) Leija III, Leslie (Rito) Gamez, Michael (Teresa) Leija , Michelle Leija; father and step mother Cosme (Mary) Leija; his brothers and sisters and sixteen grandchildren. The family will be receiving friends Tuesday at Treviño Funeral Home November 6, 2012 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM that evening. A Chapel Service will be held Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Treviño Funeral Home 3006 Niagara at Port of Crosstown Freeway. Burial to follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
