Marco Antonio Barrera

Marco Antonio Barrera passed away on November 4, 2020 at the age of 49.  He was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend.  Marco graduated from Banquete High School and Del Mar College.  He loved music, bmx freestyle, and race cars; he absolutely loved the outdoors, even when the weather was bad. Marco will be deeply missed by all whom knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Candelario and Juanita Delgado, and paternal grandparents, Irineo and Santos Saenz. Among those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Eva (Adrian) Sandoval; parents, Emilio Barrera and Janie Barrera; siblings, Emilio Martin “Marty” (Eglantina) Barrera, Laura Lee Barrera (Joseph Jason) Yaun, twin Rene Ricardo (Melissa) Barrera; granddaughter, Zoee Sandoval; and numerous nephews, nieces, and extended family. The family will receive condolences on Monday, November 9, 2020, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port, from 6 PM to 9 PM. Services will conclude that evening and a cremation will follow .

Face masks must be worn, and social distancing must be practiced while attending funeral services due to the current pandemic.
