Marcus Ray Bañuelos, Sr.

Marcus Ray Bañuelos, Sr., age 46, passed away on December 24, 2015. Marcus was a loving husband, father, son, and brother. He loved spending time with his family, working out, BBQ-ing with family, and was an avid outdoorsman. He also loved watching the UFC. Marcus will be dearly missed. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Candace Cassandra Bañuelos. Marcus leaves behind his loving wife, Melissa Rollins-Bañuelos; mother, Bertha DeLeon; children, Marcus Ray Bañuelos, Jr.; step-children, Jonathan, Joseph, and James McCoy, Jennifer (Matt) Torres; sisters, Carmen (Andrew) Mota-Aguilar, Joanna (Israel) Garcia, Alexandria DeLaPaz (Javier Alcala); Alberta A. (Blanca) Valdez; nephews and nieces, Roman Mota, Brittany Garcia, Candice Rodriguez, Rene Rodriguez, Jr., Bethany Garcia, Aaron Aguilar; 1 great-nephew, Nickolas Guardado; 1 great-niece, Arianna R. Rodriguez, step-grandchildren, Kynlee Hec, Ely and Emma Torres. The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Treviño Funeral Home 3006 Niagara at Port from 4 pm to 9 pm; with a prayer service and Eulogy to be held at 7:30 pm. A church service will be held at 1:30 pm on Thursday, December 31, 2015, at All Saints' Episcopal Church, 3026 S. Staples; cremation will follow. Burial of his cremains will take place at a later date at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
