Margaret Reyes Blanco, age 75, beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend, was called home to our Heavenly Father on January 17, 2020. She was born on February 17, 1944 in San Antonio, Texas to the late Leonard Sr. and Celia Reyes. A lifetime resident of Corpus Christi, Texas, she graduated from Roy Miller High School in 1963. She was a devout Catholic and a very devoted member of the Third Order of the Trinitarians at Christ the King Church since 2002. She was a loving grandmother who loved and cared very deeply for her grandchildren, family, and friends.
Margaret is preceded in death by her grandmother, Estefana Gaytan; parents, Leonard Sr. and Cecilia Reyes; and sister, Mary G. Leos.
Margaret leaves behind her family to cherish her memories; four children, Michael (Sunny) Treviño, Sandra Treviño, Mary Blanco, and Rosario (Mark) Blanco; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; brother, Leonard (Mary) Reyes, Jr.; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20, 2020, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara @ Port. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 21, 2020, at 12:00 PM at Christ the King Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
