Margarita S. Garcia

Margarita S. Garcia passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, December 24, 2016, at the age of 86. Margarita was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Cruz and Maclovia Santos; brothers, Ben Santos and Jose Santos; sisters, Amalia Soliz and Ofelia Santos. Margarita is survived by her husband, Felipe S. Garcia, Sr.; children, Jaime Garcia, Mike (Monica) Garcia, Felipe S. (Lori) Garcia, Jr., and Belinda Meacham; sister, Elida Garza; grandchildren, James Garcia, Nichole (Martin) Villarreal, Christina Garcia, Melissa (Jimmy) Francis, Ashley De Alejandro, Michael Garcia, Felipe S. (Lisa) Garcia, III., Kori Meacham, and Kody Meacham; great-grandchildren, Alejandro Villarreal, Lucas Villarreal, Alexis Garcia, and Emma Garcia; numerous nephews and nieces. The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, December 28, 2016, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara @ Port, from 4pm – 9pm; with a Holy Rosary recited at 7pm. Rites of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 8:30am. Burial will follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
