Margarita J Garcia

Margarita Josephina Rangel Garcia entered into rest on Friday, April 8, 2022, at the age of 73. She was born April 17, 1948, to Marcelino and Ramona Rodriguez Rangel in Corpus Christi, TX.

Margarita is preceded in death by her parents and by her siblings, Marcelino Rangel, Jimmy Rangel, and Mary Rangel.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Ruben Garcia; her children, Louisa Alma (Andres) Rosalez, Ernest Liseo (Sonya) Garcia, Jesus Gabriel Garcia, and David Roel (Monica) Garcia; her three grandchildren, David, Andy, and John Gabriel Garcia; and her five step-grandchildren, Tony, Tommy, and Deanna Rosalez, Amber M. Gomez, and Jordan Glover. She is also survived by her siblings, Enrique Rangel, Yvonne Espejel, Julian Ayala, Melissa Ayala Garcia, Ramon Ayala, and Patricia Simmons; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara @ Port Ave; with a Prayer Service to be held at 6:30 PM that same evening. A Chapel Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, April 14, 2022, at 10:00 AM at Trevino Funeral Home. A funeral cortege will depart the funeral home at 11:00 AM for Rite of Committal and Interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Face masks must be worn, and social distancing must be practiced while attending funeral services due to the current pandemic.
