Maria F. Abad

Maria F. Abad passed away on October 19, 2020 at the age of 97.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.  She will be missed by all whom knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Rios Abad.

Maria is survived by her children, Dora Abad, Mari Abad Foster, Estella Abad-Vela, Ernesto Abad, Ramiro Abad, and Joe Abad, Jr.; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A rosary will be recited at 12:00 pm on Monday, October 26, 2020, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port, with a funeral liturgy to begin at 12:30 pm.  Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Honoring her as pallbearers will be Robert Scott Murphree, Alfred Vela, Ernesto Abad, Ernesto Abad Jr., Ramiro Abad, David Abad, Jose Abad III, and Jose Abad Jr.

Face masks must be worn, and social distancing must be practiced while attending funeral services due to the current pandemic.
