Maria Del Carmen Acosta

Maria Del Carmen Acosta, age 78, passed away on August 24, 2012. She joins in heaven her husband, Alberto Acosta Sr.; son, Adan Acosta; parents, Cristobal and Bibiana Villarreal; brother, Jose Martinez; and sister, Paula Martinez. Maria leaves behind her loving children, Maria Elizabeth (Sotero) Sanchez, Alberto (Diana) Acosta Jr., Alejandro (Monica) Acosta, and Eva (Joe) Acebo; one brother; four sisters; twelve grandchildren, Roger, Ricky, Christopher & Clarisa Sanchez, Jan'l and Christian Acosta, Matthew Jiménez, Alejandro Acosta Jr., Rebecca Acosta, Rebecca, Sarah, and Aaron Acebo; special niece, Elizabeth (Tomas) Islas; and numerous other nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thanks to Genevieve Arriaga, Erica Zuniga, Dr. Abimael Perez, Mrs. Linda B. of Christus Spohn Hospice, all of the staff of Christus Spohn South ICU, and Jennifer RN 3rd floor for the loving care of Maria during her final days. The family will be receiving friends on Monday, August 27, 2012 at Trevino Funeral Home 3006 Niagara at Port from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm; with a Prayer Service to be held at 7:30. A funeral chapel service will be held at Trevino Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at 12:00 pm; interment to follow at Duncan Cemetery.
