Maria Teresa Torres Cantu

Maria Teresa Torres Cantu passed away January 14, 2017 at the age of 89. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. She is survived by her daughters, Maria Socorro Avila, Minnie Cantu, Sylvia C. Cavada (Charles), Ann Marie Navarro; sons, David Cantu, Javier Cantu, Victor Cantu; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family will be receiving friends and family from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. Rites of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Holy Family Catholic Church with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family would like to express their warmest thanks and gratitude to Alameda Oaks Nursing Home, for the caring and loving way they took care of Ms. Cantu for the past 9 years.
