Maria S. Hernandez

Maria S. Hernandez passed away on June 14, 2019 at the age of 85. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Maria will be deeply missed by all whom knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Guadalupe Hernandez; son, Manuel Hernandez; grandsons, Robert Lopez, Jr., Juan Manuel Vello III, and Michael Ray Naranjo; and her parents, Francisco and Agueda Hernandez.

Among those left to cherish Maria’s memory are her children, Eva “Ray” Naranjo, Guadalupe Hernandez, Jr., Jose (Barbara Jean) Hernandez, Herman Hernandez, Yolanda (Robert) Lopez, Maria (Julio) Hernandez, and Robert “Yvonne” Hernandez; 16 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Friday, June 21, 2019, from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Christ the King Catholic Church, 3423 Rojo St, Corpus Christi, TX 78415; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 12:00 PM. Cremation will follow.
