Maria M Garza

Maria M. Garza was born on August 10, 1942, in Reynosa, Mexico and was well known for her kind and beautiful soul. She was known to be the best sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. Maria resided in Corpus Christi, Texas and was called to rest by our Heavenly Father on January 3, 2022.

Maria will be greeted in heaven by her parents, Toribio and Ramona Mendoza, and her sister, Guadalupe Rodriguez.

Maria is survived by her loving husband, Ramiro Garza; children, Belinda (Lisa) Silvas and Luis (Eva Villarreal) Garza; two sisters, Gregoria Suarez and Aurelia Mendoza; one brother, Juan

Mendoza; seven grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Maria's memories will live on through all who loved and cherished her. She will be dearly missed.

The family will receive condolences on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara @ Port Ave; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. Services will conclude in the chapel that evening.

Face masks must be worn, and social distancing must be practiced while attending services at this facility.
