Maria Olivo

Maria Olivo passed away on June 20, 2021 at the age of 101.  She loved making quilts and gardening.  Maria was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.  She will be dearly missed by all whom knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Pedro Olivo; daughters, Jesusa Olivo and Olivia Fugiel; son, Maximiliano Olivo; and parents, Juan and Felicita Enriquez.

Maria is survived by her daughters, Frances Olivo, Helena Cepeda, Felicia Loosemore, Sylvia Olivo, and Beatrice O. Garza and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Treviño Funeral Home, 120 E. Front St., Alice, TX; with a holy rosary to be recited at 1:00 PM. Funeral liturgy and then interment at Old Collins Cemetery will follow.

Face masks must be worn, and social distancing must be practiced while attending funeral services due to the current pandemic.
