Maria A Ponce

Our family sadly lost María Asunción Ponce on October 16, 2021 at the age of 42; reason undetermined till this day. She was born in Monterrey Nuevo León and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was the first-born daughter of Teodoro and Eva Ponce.

She was the sweetest and most loving person. Maria was a hardworking mother, intelligent, and she was independent.

She graduated from high school in 1999 from Texas School for the Deaf in San Antonio.

Maria leaves behind two brothers, Teodoro Jr and Jose; three sisters, Lupita, Jennifer, and Michelle; and two wonderful kids; Rogelio and Juliana.

The family will receive condolences on Friday, October 29, 2021, from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port Ave; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at 10:00 AM at Saints Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church. Services will conclude after mass.
