Maria Melida Uribe

Maria Melida Uribe passed away on June 7, 2016, at the age of 74. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Maria enjoyed gardening, reading, and music; however her greatest enjoyment was her family. She was a devout catholic and a woman of strong faith. She is preceded in death by her husband, Enrique H. Uribe; parents, Manuel and Elisa Martinez; brother, Mario Martinez; sister, Minerva Whittiker. Maria is survived by her sons, Enrique Uribe and Saul Uribe; sisters, Margaret Rudnick and Sylvia Martinez; brother Antonio Martinez; granddaughters, Brianna Uribe and Belinda Uribe; grandson, Michael Enrique Uribe; brother-in-law's, Felipe (Lydia) Uribe, Tomas Uribe and Guillermo Uribe; sister-in-law's, Ernestina Uribe and Maria (Jose) Palacios; nephews Marty, Tony, Felipe and Jose; nieces, Monika, Lisa, Rachel, Jennifer, Therese Anne, Christina, Diana, Yajaira, Monica, Lucy, and Gabriella. The family will be receiving friends and family on, Friday, June 10, 2016 from 4pm to 9pm, at Treviño Funeral Home, 120 E. Front St., with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7pm. Rites of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will follow at New Collins Cemetery.
