Maria Arcelia Martinez Vasquez

Maria Arcelia Martinez Vasquez, age 70, passed away on August 25, 2012 with her family by her side. She was a loving mother, who devoted her life to all her children. Her passions were singing, music, cooking, and gardening, which was her way to give and share herself with the world. She will be dearly missed by all whom knew her. She joins in heaven her daughter, Jacqueline Vasquez-Holt; mother, Isabel G. Parks; sister, Rosa Mercado; and brother, Marcelo Perez. Maria leaves behind her loving children; Hilda V. Esquivel, Sergio Vasquez, Michelle (Justin) Vasquez-Ellis, Pedro (Myra) Vasquez, Nilda V. (Michael) Rodriguez, Ulysses Emilio Vasquez; brother, Arturo V. Perez; seventeen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; niece, Griselda Gonzalez; nephews, Fernando Parra, Victor (Becky) Parra, Aaron Ramirez; and numerous other nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, August 31, 2012 at Trevino Funeral Home 3006 Niagara at Port; entombment of cremains to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
