Maria Melda Vela

Maria Melda Vela, age 64, passed away July 13, 2015. She is preceded in death by a son, Rene Rodriguez, a parent Conrado (Refugia) vela Maria is survived by her loving family, daughters, Irene (Ruben) Hernandez, Sylvia (Orlando) Rodriguez, Becky (Romeo) Tamez, Connie Cortez; sons, Jacinto (Irma) Rodriguez III, Rogelio (Rachel) Rodriguez, George Daniel (Christina) Trevino; former husband, Jacinto Rodriguez Jr.; sisters, Velma Vela, Delma DeLeon, Alicia Trevino; brother, Conrado (Janie) Vela Jr.; 23 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren. The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at Treviño Funeral Home Alice, 120 E. Front St., from 5 to 9 pm, with a Rosary to be recited at 7 pm that evening. A funeral chapel service will be held at Trevino Funeral Home at 10 am on Thursday, July 16, 2015; burial will follow at San Manuel Cemetery in Concepción, Texas. Service to be held under the direction of Bobby Trevino.
