Maria Del Refugio (Valderas) Urrutia

Maria del Refugio Urrutia passed away on Friday, December 25, 2020, at the age of 98. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  Maria will be deeply missed by all whom knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Francisco Urrutia, and son, Ramon Urrutia.

Among those left to cherish her memory are her children, Michaela Hernandez, Joaquin Urrutia, Alejandra Ruiz, Emilio Urutia, and Rosa Maria de la Rosa; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family will receive condolences on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Treviño Funeral Home Alice, 120 E. Front St.; with a holy rosary and funeral liturgy to begin at 11:00 a.m.  A funeral cortege will depart the funeral home at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, to Las Flores Cemetery in Ben Bolt, TX for a Rite of Committal and Interment at 1:00 p.m.

Face masks must be worn, and social distancing must be practiced while attending funeral services due to the current pandemic.
