Maria Elena Hernandez

Maria Elena Hernandez passed away on July 23, 2020 at the age of 70.  Maria was a devout Catholic and a Breast Cancer Survivor.  She was a loyal Dallas Cowboy Fan.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.  She will be dearly missed by whom knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Hortencia Moreno; father, Acensio Moreno; sisters, Clara Moreno, Ninfa Duran, Yolanda Rodriguez, and Mary Prado; brothers, Joe Moreno, Tony Moreno, and Oscar Moreno.

Maria was survived by her sons, Joe Morua (Amber Bryan) and  Oscar Moreno (Amanda Fautheree); step-sons, Eric Hernandez, Charlie Hernandez, and Tony (Tina) Hernandez; 17 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; sisters, Josie (Julian) Nava and Susie (Tano) Villenueva; brother, Ramon Moreno; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Services were held on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara and she was buried on Thursday, August 6, 2020, at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
