Maria "Mary" M. Naranjo

Our beloved mother, Mrs. Maria “Mary” M. Naranjo age 90, of Corpus Christi, TX passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at her home.  She was born on November 6, 1930, the daughter of the late Merced and Gudalupe Montes.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Isabel Naranjo, Sr.; son, Daniel Naranjo; and a great-grandchild, Cayden Ryan Naranjo.

Family was the driving force of her life.  She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  She was the proud and loving grandmother to 18 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.  All will miss her very, very much.

This loving, caring, and wonderful lady has left a permanent mark etched on our hearts and will be immensely missed by her daughter, Lydia (Carlos) Almendarez; sons, Abel (Ellen) Naranjo, Mel (Connie) Naranjo, and Freddy (Sylvia) Naranjo.  She leaves behind a very special friend and honorary family member, Terri (Juan Antonio) Portales.  She also leaves many other family members and friends who will so sadly miss her.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, July 8, 2021, from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM at Tabernacle of Praise Church, 5918 Kostoryz Rd., Corpus Christi, TX  78415; with a prayer service to begin at 7:00 PM.  A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 9, 2021, at 8:30 AM at Tabernacle of Praise Church with interment to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.

Face masks must be worn, and social distancing must be practiced while attending funeral services due to the current pandemic.
