Martina Davila Pena

Martina Davila Pena passed away on February 9, 2023, at the age of 58. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Martina loved BBQ, dancing, and watching the Dallas Cowboys football games with her family. She was always the life of the party. She loved and cared for everyone dearly. Everyone knew her anywhere she would go, and she always had a nickname for everyone. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Socorro Davila; her brother, Oscar Davila Jr.; and nephew, Mike Pena III. Left behind to cherish Martina’s memories are her daughter, Tanya Davila (Sonny Arroyo); granddaughter she raised as her own, Ashley Arroyo (Andres Aguilar); sons, Hector Pena Jr (Wilma Saenz), Arnold Hinojosa (Michelle Rodriguez), and Michael Hinojosa (Tabitha); sister, Mary Hernandez; her grandchildren, Briana Arroyo, Mallorie Arroyo, Audrey Arroyo, Jayden Arroyo, Bella Arroyo, Aydan Hinojosa, Isaiah Hinojosa, Armoni Hinojosa, Destiny Pena, Hazel Pena, Anthony Hinojosa, Dontee Hinojosa, Aaliyah Hinojosa, Aniyah Hinojosa; and numerous cousins, friends, and extended family. The family will receive condolences on Monday, February 20, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, at Treviño Funeral Home, 120 E. Front St., Alice Texas. A funeral cortege will depart the funeral home at 1:00 PM for a Holy Rosary to be recited at 1:30 PM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 PM. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Old Collins Cemetery.
