Mary Alaniz

Mary Alaniz passed away on January 1, 2020 at the age of 81.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, and friend.  She will be missed by all whom knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roberto Alaniz; son, Beto Cruz Alaniz; parents, Manuel and Soila Gaytan; brothers, Manuel Gaytan, Jr. and Ruben Gaytan; sisters, Adela Alvarez and Sylvia Perez.

Mary is survived by her children, Maria Olivo, Rosalinda Floyd, Roberto (Cindy) Gaytan, Debra Garcia, and Benda (Mauricio) Quintero; 23 grandchildren; 56 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Lucia (Horacio) Cañas, Delma (James) Millwood, and Joe Gaytan; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Saturday, January 4, 2020, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara; with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. Services will conclude in the chapel.
