Mary Alice Tijerina

Mary Alice Tijerina, age 57, passed away on August 18, 2014. Mary Alice was a loving and giving person who had a heart of gold, she was a dedicated and loyal wife and mother. She loved to dance, and garden. She will be dearly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents, Juan Antonio and Blaza Tijerina, and sister, Irene Tijerina. Mary Alice leaves behind her loving husband of 37 years, Corando M. Moya; children: Corando Nick Moya III, Hope Carnes (Keith Vogt); Kristi Moya (Jessie Longoria); Mercedes Moya (Juan Pulido); grandchildren: Jacob Carnes, Brandi Carnes, Kaliegh Carnes, Joe Torres III, Gabby Moya, and Jai'lin Soto; great-granddaughter, Janelle Carnes; brothers and sisters: George Tijerina, Tony Tijerina, Adam Hinojosa, Beatrice Velasquez, Linda Martinez, Rudy Grande, Armando Grande; in laws, Nick and Sapopa Charles; and her baby dog, Cody Moya. The family will be receiving friends on Thursday, August 21, 2014 from 3 pm to 9 pm; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7 pm. Cremation will follow.
