Mary Anne Lopez

Mary Anne Lopez passed away on July 12, 2020 at the age of 46.  She loved to sing and dance, and she played the tambourine at church.  Her favorite movie was Urban Cowboy, but she also favored Grease.  Mary Anne’s love for music and dance were the reason her favorite singers were Selena, Madonna, The Judds, and Dolly Parton.  She loved family gatherings, traveling, and gambling.  She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend and she will be missed by all whom knew and loved her. Mary Anne is survived by her parents, Juan and Juanita Lopez; siblings, Cynthia Gaytan (Bobby), Sandra Lopez (Robert), Lucy Lopez, Michael Villafuerte (Cathy), Leana Yates (Eric), Johnny Villafuerte (Kathy), Edward Lopez (Jennifer), Moises Villafuerte (Lisa), Norma Garcia (Alex), and Julie Lopez (Horacio); and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, July 15, 2020, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Trevino Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port; with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM.   A funeral cortege will depart the funeral home at 12:30 PM to St. Joseph Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 16, 2020. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park. Trevino Funeral Home requires anyone attending funeral services wear a face mask due to the current pandemic.
