Mathew Rey Garza

Mathew Rey Garza, passed away January 24, 2016. He was born August 14, 1989 in Corpus Christi, TX to Reynaldo and Mary Helen Garza, was a 2007 graduate of Tuloso-Midway High School and employed by Coastal Bend Foundation He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Lencho Reyes; sister, Kayla Diane Garza; uncles, Pilar Garza Jr., and Tito Villarreal. Mathew is survived by his parents, Reynaldo and Mary Helen Garza; children, Madilynn Ilene Garza, Mikayla Alizae Garza, Michael Zapata, and Alex Lee; mothers of his children, Lydia Reyna and Dora Gutierrez; honorary best friend & comrade, Luis Vargas III; maternal grandmother Mickie Reyes, paternal grandparents, Pilar and Frances Garza, Sr.; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, February 2, 2016, at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara at Port from 3 pm to 9 pm, with a holy rosary to be prayed at 7pm. A funeral chapel service will be held at Treviño Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 3, 2016, at 9:00 am; burial to follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
