Matias Bustamante Tapia

Matias Bustamante Tapia Jr., age 72, passed away on February 4, 2013, with his family by his side. Matias was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all. He was a kind, giving and generous man; a successful entrepreneur, avid outdoorsman, and hunter. He will forever be remembered for his spiritual heart and dedication to his family. Matias will dearly be missed. He is preceded in death by his parents, Matias and Carmen Tapia; brother, Reynaldo Tapia; sister, Anna Marie Perez; brother-in-law, Joe Perez. Matias leaves behind his loving wife of 20 years, Celia Segovia Tapia; children, Dean Gerard Tapia, Christopher Gerard Tapia, Benjamin Tapia, Matias B. Tapia III (Judith Jenkins), David (Alice) Meier, Cynthia Ann (Peter) Diemer, Jacqueline Emily (Richard) Kent; grandchildren, Christopher Dean Tapia, Joshua Gerard Tapia, Benjamin Christian Tapia, Talia Grace Tapia, Sydney Marie Kent, Laura Elisabeth Kent, Richard Harrison Kent III, Ryan Nathaniel Kent, Saffon Stardust, Tim Alexander Diemer, Jana Isabel Diemer; father-in-law, Guadalupe Rodriguez Segovia; and numerous nephews and nieces that he loved dearly. The family will be receiving friends at Trevino Funeral Home 3006 Niagara at Port on Saturday, February 9, 2013 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
