Matilde Esparza

Matilde Esparza of Gregory, Texas passed away on October 10, 2022, at the age of 61. Matilde Esparza will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Juan G. Molina and Otilia Molina, and siblings, Johnny Molina III, Linda Molina, Ruben Salazar, Eloy Jose Salazar (Aurelia), Pedro Molina (Mary), and Irma Galvan.

Left behind to cherish her memories is her husband, Raul Esparza; siblings, Olivia S. Perez (late Ezequel) of Houston, TX, Raynaldo Salazar of Lancaster, CA, Lydia Gonzalez (Ramon) of Corpus Christi, TX, Roel Salazar of Corpus Christi, TX, Irene Molina of Aransas Pass, TX, Janie Garcia (Roberto) of Corpus Christi, TX, and Julie Nesmith (Sergio) of Gregory, TX; brother-in-law, Jesus Galvan; children, Jo-Ann Garcia of Corpus Christi, TX, Monica Gonzalez (Richard) of Corpus Christi, TX, and Jessica Garcia (Mario Tobias); step son, Juan Esparza (Stephanie); grandchildren, Robert Rios III, Richard Gonzalez Jr., Kalysianah A. Gonzalez, John Garcia, Nicholas G. Gonzalez, Nautika R. Garcia, Xzavier S. Tobias, Mesh Garza, Zachary Mireles, and Daniel A. Esparza all of Corpus Christi, TX; great-grandchildren, Ayva R. Gonzalez and Malekai R. Rios both of Corpus Christi, TX; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A Memorial Rosary will be recited on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 10:30 AM, followed by a Memorial Mass at 11:00 AM. Services will conclude at the church.
