Michael Sean Flygare, a devoted carpenter and welder known for his unwavering faith and deep love for family, passed away on June 7, 2026, in his hometown of Corpus Christi, Texas. Born on November 23, 1968, in Corpus Christi, Michael’s life was one marked by dedication to his craft, his community, and his spiritual beliefs.

A gifted artist with a passion for music, Michael expressed his creativity through playing the guitar and singing, bringing joy to those around him. His artistic talents extended beyond music, making him a truly multifaceted individual whose presence touched many lives.

Michael had a pure and abiding love for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, which was a guiding force throughout his life. His commitment to his faith was evident in his daily walk and in the kindness and compassion he extended to others.

He is survived by his beloved children, Brittany Flygare, Courtney Flygare, and Dillon Flygare, who carry forward his legacy with pride and honor. Michael was also a cherished grandfather to his granddaughters, Harley Flygare, Ivy Flygare, and Talia Flygare, who always brought him happiness and warmth. His brothers, Frank Nicoletti, Bruce Nicoletti (Glenda), Mel Flygare, and his sisters, Norma Flores (Sonny) and Velma Vella, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family, continue to hold his memory close to their hearts.

Michael’s family had been his cornerstone, and he remained deeply connected to them throughout his life. Though he mourned the loss of his mother, Juanita B. Bustos, father, Richard Flygare, brother, Jerry Vela, and a sister who preceded him in death, Michael’s spirit remains vibrant in the hearts of those who knew him.

Honoring Michael as pallbearers are Abriel Vela, Bruce Nicoletti Jr., Bruce Nicoletti Sr., Dillon Flygare, Casey Keyworth, Brandon McCord, Gene Deleon, and Zachary Limon.

Visitation will be held at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St @ Port Ave, on Thursday, June 25, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a Prayer Service beginning at 7:00 PM to celebrate his faith and life. Visitation will continue the following day, Friday, June 26, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM. Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park, where friends and family will bid their final farewells.

Michael Sean Flygare’s life was a testament to the strength of family bonds, the power of faith, and the beauty of creative expression. His legacy will be remembered with respect and affection by all fortunate enough to have known him. May he rest in eternal peace.
