Miguel Bernal Rios

Miguel Bernal Rios passed away on July 25, 2019 at the age of 83. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, fishing, watching Dallas Cowboys football, and the UT Longhorns. Miguel will be deeply missed by all whom loved and knew him.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Margarita Rios.

Among those left to cherish Miguel’s memory are his wife, Maria A. Rios; sons, Miguel Rios, Jr. and Manuel David (Sunni) Rios; sister, Mary Beaudion; grandchildren, Khloe Rios, Dani Rios, and Sara Rios; and numerous nephews, nieces, and extended family.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, August 1, 2019, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Treviño Funeral Home, 3006 Niagara St. @ Port; with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A funeral cortege will depart the funeral home on Friday, August 2, 2019, at 11:30 AM to St. Joseph Catholic Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 AM. Rite of Committal and Interment, with Military Honors, will follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery.
